Summer Table

This semester I had the opportunity to create another flower arrangement for my dinner table. As you might guess, I was very happy to do so. I was able to go to Michael's right before they transitioned their inventory from Summer to Spring and got some great 50-70% discounts. Luckily, I was additionally able to go to Target's dollar section and I found these cute mason jars for the base of the flower arrangements. Instead of looking for fillers for the jars I used the leaves and greenery from the flowers and filled the jars with those.

I was happy to get matching yellows in the sunflowers and the other smaller flowers I found. Sometimes it can be very difficult to find matching colors when you wait until the end of a season for sales, but the sales are definitely worth it. The best way to make sure you get matching colors is to do a walk through of the new seasonal flowers right as they stock them and take note of the ones you want. The difficult part of this is ensuring you don't buy the flowers immediately and wait for the sales instead. ;) I sure do love flowers and I hope you enjoyed seeing them too.
